Braemore Square Country House B&B is one of Scotlands Best B&Bs, located 10 miles South of Ullapool on the A835 approximately 2 miles North of Braemore Junction and 1 mile from the famous Corrieshallach Gorge and Falls of Measach
It is an ideal base for walking, fishing or exploring the beautiful Highlands of Scotland. It is uniquely located in the magnificent Strathmore; it was once the home of the eminent Engineer, Sir John Fowler. Bart. Who designed and built the Forth Bridge, Waterloo Bridge and The London Underground Tunnels.
The house has a wonderfully relaxing and romantic ambiance, there are walkways throughout our 46 acres of grounds for you to wander around, why not spend some time walking or resting by the River or visit our recently discovered Archaeology Site. (A significant Neolithic site, on which we anticipate, we will commence excavations, in May 2008).
Your hosts Ed and Wendy Hughes, will guarantee you a warm and hospitable Highland welcome, your extensive choice of breakfast is from specially selected local produce and fayre. You will not be disappointed and you will not leave our breakfast room hungry!
