Dunvegan House is a spacious self-catering house set in the conservation area of the fishing village of Ullapool, in Wester Ross on the west coast of the Highlands of Scotland.
John and Pat Macleod, who own Dunvegan, are a local family who still live within Ullapool. Dunvegan was built by John's father and used as the family house for many years. The house itself is a traditional highland family home, though has expanded over the years to offer a spacious and pleasant self-catering holiday home in the centre of a picturesque village, famous for its scenery, activities, food and hospitality. If you are looking for a base to explore the region, Dunvegan can sleep 2 to 8 people (plus 2 children) and is well situated for experiencing Ullapool and the Highland environment and countryside.
The house is fully furnished, has a lounge and reception/dining room, a fully fitted kitchen with storage and cooking facilities. We have also installed FreeSat television for those days when the weather restricts outdoor activities. (There is also a DVD and games rental shop on our street that also rents out games consoles.)
