We would like to welcome you to 'Newton House' which is a luxurious bungalow built in 2002. It stands in its own private grounds, situated in the Braes area of Ullapool, from which there are lovely views of the sea and mountains beyond. The large, private back garden with patio is surrounded by a forest.
We have 3 double bedded rooms, one of which is a king size master bedroom with en-suite shower. There is also a bathroom with shower and corner bath. The cosy lounge has a beamed ceiling, and a wood burning stove for extra warmth in the winter months. We have a separate dining room in addition to a kitchen/diner. The kitchen has a gas hob, built in electric oven and microwave, and lots of cupboard space.
Newton House is the perfect spot for a quiet relaxing holiday, and is only minutes away from the many popular restaurants which Ullapool has to offer. There are numerous walks around the village, also boat trips to see the wild life. Ullapool has its own golf course and swimming pool/fitness centre. The ferry to Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, departs twice daily, so a day trip to Stornoway is very popular. A tour of the west coast is easily accessible, to visit the fishing villages of Lochinver and Kilochbervie.
