The shoreline is a minutes walk through the owners private sheep grazing land. Fish here, or watch the varying wildlife; permits may be purchased for salmon and trout fishing nearby.
Ullapool, (12 miles away by road) is just across the loch, with its bustling port and island ferry terminal. An excellent area for walking and climbing, with unique wilderness nature reserves just a few miles north.
