Situated by the edge of Loch Broom on the outskirts of Ullapool, The Sheiling is set within one acre of its own grounds and enjoys spectacular views of mountains and lochs. The house, purpose built in 1989, is owned and run by Iain and Lesley MacDonald
The Sheiling comprises six letting bedrooms, double and twin-bedded, all with en-suite facilities - some with bath, some with shower. All rooms have a hospitality tray. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, and two of the upstairs bedrooms have loch views.
There is a comfortable residents lounge with open fire and TV, which is available all day should the weather be inclement, and a spacious split-level breakfast room where only the best of Highland fare is served. Both these rooms look out over the loch.
A full Scottish cooked breakfast is offered, which includes Lochinver smoked Haddock and award winning sausages from our local butcher. Fruits, yoghurts, cereals etc are also available each morning from the breakfast buffet.
Wireless internet access is available in the residents lounge for those visitors with laptops who wish to check their e-mails.
